Selling Power announced their 1st annual award, highlighting CROs who have gone above and beyond in the world of revenue for their companies.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (January 24, 2023) – Alex Bruce, chief revenue officer for Rural Sourcing, has been named CRO of the Year by Selling Power. The CRO of the Year Award was announced in December at the Sales 3.0 Conference in Florida. The award recognizes the hard work and dedication that these CROs have exemplified throughout their careers.
Bruce joined Rural Sourcing in 2016, assuming the day-to-day leadership and management of the company’s sales organization. He was tasked with identifying new revenue initiatives and establishing new sales channels. Over the past few years, he has overseen double digit growth as the company has expanded to new markets and geographic locations. Bruce and his team have consistently exceeded sales projections as Rural Sourcing’s team of product solutions engineers drive results for clients.
“A successful sales organization starts with servant leadership,” said Alex Bruce, chief revenue officer at Rural Sourcing. “Besides delivering successful outcomes, the best way to drive consistent growth is to identify, attract, develop and support the best talent. With a roster of sincere sales professionals and innovation-minded solutions architects, we not only meet the needs of our clients but exceed their expectations.”
Jointly, The CRO Collective and Selling Power, presented fifteen awards to CRO’s who companies range from startups to enterprises across 30 or more different industries. During the application process, companies were asked to describe their nominee’s most important achievement and summarize three reasons why they should be recognized.
“This collaboration between Selling Power, Sales 3.0 and The CRO Collective helps bring awareness to companies that best align sales and marketing to company success,” says Gerhard Gschwandter, CEO of Selling Power. “CRO’s deserve to be recognized because of the many different hats that they wear in a given day.”
