Our client’s executive team recognized the many advantages of incorporating digital solutions to improve product quality, so we worked together on a food manufacturing platform where employees could track processes including product acquisition and fabrication, inventory and warehouse management, quality assurance and traceability, order management and delivery and accounting and reporting. In a span of five years, we collaborated with our client to create and evolve a solution that truly fit their needs.

COST SAVINGS AND INCREASED VISIBILITY FOR BETTER BUSINESS DECISIONS

Thanks to the stronger focus on automation, our client now has a much higher level of visibility, which has been key to defining and adjusting costs since there’s a clear view of production expense. It also helps prevent quality issues by identifying products with expired dates. Additionally, the new platform is much more stable, reliable and efficient: before having the platform, barcode scanning would take 30-45 seconds per product. Now, it’s immediate. This translates into savings of one FTE (full-time equivalent) per year. Now, the team at Graziano’s is able to compare vendors’ prices and buy in a simpler and faster way –prices from different vendors have been standardized and users even have an option to go automatically to the best option – which improves costs and the overall decision making process.
