Uniply provides companies with a B2B web app where teams can record operations and share and track their strategies. The company is our long-time client, with whom we’ve worked on many different platform goals such as adding features and increasing the platform’s value according to users’ needs. Following this history of collaboration, they trusted us with the overhaul of their platform’s look and feel: their existing app was inconsistent and that was hurting their brand presence. To maximize their potential, they partnered with us to create a unique and detailed platform and focus on some areas that had been overlooked in the past.
solution
We organized a Discovery process to ideate the product we wanted to build and later base our design and development teams work on the insights we got from this process. To find the best solution, our Design team conducted a series of user interviews and came up with empathy maps that helped define the app’s existing problems. We then moved forward with wireframing and testing options with active users, which led us to iterate mockups and later work on the re-design and development of the new app’s version. It includes new user paths and more automated processes for adding info and tracking actions.
results
We brought to life a digital product based on React and Django that is easy to understand by different professionals across backgrounds and roles. Additionally, this new solution gives users the possibility to customize the platform according to their needs and brands. A dashboard was also created where users can visualize their teams’ and businesses’ big picture, which is easy to set up with friendly widgets. Uniply’s clients are now able to find the most relevant information easily and use it to make data-driven decisions in their business.
