AMSJ is a medical care center that serves thousands of patients with clinics and diagnosis centers in eight cities. After over 50 years in business, they decided to incorporate digital solutions to their customer attention channels. Previously, patients could only schedule a medical appointment by phone or visiting one of their clinics, which translated into long wait times and a lackluster customer experience.

MULTIPLE WEB AND MOBILE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

Building and launching the medical center web platform to coordinate appointments was our first project together and since then we’ve continued collaborating to add new features to this platform, such as connecting the solution to their pharmacy services and creating a mobile app version of the system. Another important milestone was integrating the AMSJ platform for exam coordination with external services, such as financial institutions and also implementing a communication protocol called HL7, which is a set of international standards for the transfer of clinical and administrative data. This allows users to do everything on the platform, from booking and paying to getting their exams results. This system offers patients and professionals a simple, secure and accessible way to manage and share vital information.

The solution we have built for AMSJ has a fresh UX/UI which ensures a truly user-friendly experience for everyone involved; almost 20,000 people are active users and around 2,000 medical appointments are now scheduled through it every month.
