Curtis brings experience and focus on sustainable growth
ATLANTA (May 11, 2021) – Rural Sourcing, a leader in onshore digital engineering, has promoted Ingrid Curtis to President of the company. For the past decade, she has served as Chief Operating Officer. Curtis’s leadership has helped propel Rural Sourcing forward through operational efficiency and strategic, sustainable growth.
Curtis, along with current CEO Monty Hamilton, started Rural Sourcing in 2008. Beginning with a small delivery center in Jonesboro Arkansas, Rural Sourcing has grown to be a force in Agile software development with six software development centers and 700 colleagues. In her expanded role, Curtis will support the company during its next phase of growth by working with colleagues and clients to bring value and speed to software development.
“Rural Sourcing holds a critical place in the U.S. software development and digital engineering landscape,” said Ingrid Curtis, President for Rural Sourcing. “In today’s climate, companies need trusted partners who can deliver rapid results and scale to meet their needs. Over the past decade, I have worked with our clients and teams to deliver innovative digital solutions. In my new role, I will continue this journey and push us to sustained excellence.”
Curtis has more than 12 years of experience in the management consulting and IT industries. Previously, she was a consultant with Clarkston Consulting, where she spent five years managing large-scale software implementations. Curtis brings an expansive knowledge of underlying computer systems and technologies, allowing her to contribute to all aspects of our application development projects. She is a graduate of Babson College, where she earned a B.S. in Business Management.
“Ingrid is invaluable to Rural Sourcing,” said Monty Hamilton, CEO of Rural Sourcing. “Since 2008, we have been on a journey together to change outsourcing perceptions, build great software for our clients, and create a great company for our colleagues. Together, we are building career opportunities for technology professionals in locations where there were few options previously. I look forward to continuing to work with Ingrid as we make our mark on the technology industry and the communities we serve.”
With a mature, U.S.-based model, Rural Sourcing provides a low-risk, high-collaboration solution for clients, while delivering the quality and responsiveness that are needed in today’s fast paced digital world. In 2019, Bain Capital Double Impact, the impact investing business of Bain Capital, acquired a majority stake in Rural Sourcing allowing the company to further scale its national footprint and digital service offerings while creating high-quality jobs and new technology corridors across the country.
