Monty Hamilton Named Top Tech Services CEO

ATLANTA (March 25, 2020) – Rural Sourcing continues to be recognized for its leadership in the technology industry. The Software Report has named CEO Monty Hamilton to its Top 50 Tech Services CEO list. Hamilton ranked number 8 on the publication’s prestigious 2020 list.

Rural Sourcing was founded 10 years ago in a “tin roof shack” in Arkansas. Over the past few years, Hamilton has grown the company to approximately 700 software developers in six development centers across the U.S. This growth can be attributed to Hamilton’s ability to attract top talent and vision to create a purpose-driven organization committed to delivering results through digital solutions.

“We’re at a crossroads in the technology industry,” said Monty Hamilton, CEO of Rural Sourcing. “As the war for tech talent rages on, we are looking for new answers to the same old questions. To grow and thrive in today’s environment, we must create a scalable and skilled workforce in the U.S. outside of the traditional tech hubs. At Rural Sourcing, we have turned to Middle America to meet the software development needs of the FORTUNE 1000.”

As a mission-focused organization, Rural Sourcing is creating IT careers in Middle America. The company and its colleagues are making a positive impact on the community and the country. And others have taken notice. Over the past decade, Rural Sourcing has received numerous workplace awards—both on the local and national level—demonstrating the company’s commitment to delivering the best for its colleagues and clients.

In today’s global economy tech services has increasingly become a critical component to businesses both large and small. The Software Report aims to recognize the sector’s top talent through the Top 50 Tech Services CEO list. According to The Software Report: “This year’s awardees are some of the most impressive CEOs across the industry. They were selected based on close evaluation of the large volume of nomination submissions we received. We paid particular attention to substantive comments about each nominee’s leadership capabilities and effectiveness in setting an optimal growth strategy while recruiting the right executive team members. Also important to us was understanding a nominee’s integrity, drive, intelligence and the manner in which they cultivated a positive company culture.”
